How to use OpenPGP.

Our keys are made to work with OpenPGP, an open asymmetric encryption standard. OpenPGP is available on a number of apps, but we recommend either the following apps:

¹GPG or GnuPG stands for GNU Privacy Guard, an open-source implementation for OpenPGP. Some command-line tutorials on OpenPGP introduces the gpg command which are specific to GnuPG, not OpenPGP.

²Recommended for use in Git.

³Importing and use of subkeys are not possible due to the limitations of the cryptographic processing library.

Send some encrypted emails

Send encrypted email with your recipient's public key. Visit the Email Self-Defense guide by the FSF for more information.

Use Git and GnuPG to sign your commits. Tell Git and your Git hosting your hosting provider.

Official guides are available for Codeberg (Forgejo), Gitee, GitHub, and GitLab.

Certain apps including JetBrains ID​E also have built-in GPG signing support.
